Diane recently attended the 100th Anniversary National Restaurant Association Show hosted in Chicago, USA. She returned with some amazing information and resources that we will be sharing with you over the coming weeks.
The National Restaurant Association Show was an exceptional opportunity for us to learn about upcoming trends in the global restaurant industry and to gain inspiration, insight, sourcing and networking. The Show is spread over three exhibit halls spanning more than 715,000 square feet, with 900+ product categories featured by 2,300+ exhibitors from around the world.
There was a chance to sample and preview the top culinary trends, latest equipment, and the newest technology throughout the Show floor including the Global Food Expo, Tech Pavilion that explored futuristic back-of-house technologies such as robotics and foodservice pick-up lockers.
The featured Super Sessions were particularly interesting giving a glimpse of trends shaping the future of the industry, what’s next in convenience, and best practices in guest experiences.
